Summer Road Trip

(Strawberry Point, Utah, yes I took this picture with an iPhone, if you can believe that)

A friend of mine recently e-mailed me and informed me that I have not updated this blog in seven months!!! Honestly, I have been so busy with school, and so busy on my summer time adventures, I have completely forgotten about updating this blog. Sorry about that. Summer started out with with a canoe trip down the Colorado river with the Boy Scouts on the California, Arizona state lines. Home for three days and back on the road again. Then onto southern Utah for miles and miles of quad riding, shooting fishing and more camping.

After that, we drove up into Wyoming to visit my brother and his family. We explored old ghost towns and did lots of sight seeing. Finally back down into northern Utah for more camping, fishing and shooting. I won't bore you with the details, but will show some of the pictures I took along the way.

Arizona Sunrise, looking across the Colorado river into Arizona.

Sunrise in the same location a few days later, what a difference clouds make.

Abandoned buildings along 1-15 were a favorite subject of mine on the trip.
